I equip socketables that steal X mana per hit, so I do not really care about the DPS of the weapon - I use it solely for regenerating mana. My weapon is always a 1 handed weapon with a very high attack rate and at least one socket. I chose Aegis of Fate over Forcefield because my build generates very little charges Immobilization Copter is pretty useful imo - slows things down Sledge Bot is big, scary, and cute and smashes things for me Spider Mines make things explode and I like that Healing Bot is awesome, especially its aid in mana recovery Nothing here seems to contribute to a summoner build I went full vitality since I don't need strength, focus, nor dexterity for a summoner build (right?) Contents 1 Story and setting 1.1 Acts 2 Classes 2. It is the sequel to Runic's 2009 RPG, Torchlight, and features peer-to-peer multiplayer support and extended modding capabilities. That way, you still get an armour bonus from the Bot and you still get the benefit of the Coup de Grace proc. Torchlight II is a 2012 action role-playing game developed by Runic Games. Can you guys look at my build and let me know what improvements I can make? See below for pictures. I would personally get rid of 10 of the points off of Coup de Grace for Heal Bot. Also the dodge chance is another great damage mitigate that shouldn't be overlooked when you are primarily at melee range.I am playing through TL2 for the first time (veteran difficulty) and decided to go with a summoner build on the engineer. I am in disagreement with other 2-hand engineers out there who focus 3:2 or 4:1 Str:Vit out the gate because I feel no fumble reduction can be a big detriment to the dps of the class. Once Dex is around the 110-120 area I would then go 4:1 or 3:2 str:vit depending on how you feel about your survivability. This spec is very simple, very effective, and great for new engineersįor allocating stat points I recommend the following:ġ Dex In the early game until you are happy with survivability Extra armor and spot healing is brought by the Heal Bot pet who is basically a persistent buff that has to be re-cast when you switch maps. This is really needed since we won't invest on vitality stats. Bulwark (15 Skill Points): This is a passive skill that boosts your defense. The armor bonus is really good once you unlock it on higher levels. The defensive nature of this spec is set by starting fights off with Onslaught to reduce incoming damage while waiting for Aegis Procs. Construction (46 Skill Points) Healing Bot (15 Skill Points): This drone lets your party save pots and money. Then spend the charge with Flame Hammer attacks. Use high damage and average attack speed weapons such Great Swords and Great Axes with the Heavy Lifting attack speed bonus to auto-attack and quickly build charge. New to Torchlight 2 (Switch), and I’m throwing together a prismatic bolt build on Veteran mostly following the guide I’ll link below. Sledge Bot is big, scary, and cute and smashes things for me. Spider Mines make things explode and I like that. The play style for this build is very simple. Healing Bot is awesome, especially its aid in mana recovery. Its not conceivable to get all of these skills, but depending on what difficulty you are playing and whether your style is more offensive or more defensive you will want to pick and choose accordingly. The list above makes up the secondary skills and is once again in most to least important. The list above makes up the primary skills of the build and should have points allocated as often as possible and are inorder of what I have experienced to be the most important from top to bottom The most dangerous period of this build will be levels 1-20 when your defensive procs and debuffs are not quite frequent enough to guarantee good suitability. This build is not for people who prefer to use a lot of abilities as many of your skill points will be invested into passive aggressive and defensive skills. This build is based around Flame Hammer being your go to ability for AoE trash killing, Boss Kiting, and just on call big damage. Hi all this a quick rundown a build that, though simple, has been highly effective for me in veteran and elite and I am planning to take it into hardcore mode pretty soon. Here is a Torchlight 2 Engineer 2H Flame Hammer Build by APaperbackhero.
